Privacy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
In short. This site uses no cookies, has no visitor analytics, no forms to fill in and loads no content from other sites. If you email us, we use your address and what you write only to reply to you.
Who is the controller
The data controller is CBSystems s.r.l., VAT number IT11174981214, registered office at Via Raffaele Bosco 742, 80069 Vico Equense (NA), Italy. For any question about your data, write to info@cambusaos.it.
What data we process
- Browsing data. When you open a page, the server hosting the site receives, as with any website, some technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type. It is used only to run the site and protect it from abuse; we don’t use it to identify or profile you.
- Emails you send us. If you write to an @cambusaos.it address, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Browsing data: to show you the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, protected website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Emails: to reply to you and, if you ask, to tell you about Cambusa or arrange a trial. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We don’t use your data for advertising and we don’t sell it to anyone.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies, neither ours nor third-party ones, and uses no other technology to recognise you between visits. That’s why there’s no cookie banner. Fonts are hosted on our own server: opening the site doesn’t contact Google Fonts or any other service.
Who helps us process it
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and protects the site and forwards emails sent to @cambusaos.it addresses.
- Google provides the mailbox that receives the forwarded emails.
They are our suppliers and process data on our behalf, as data processors. Some of these services may process data outside the European Union: in that case the transfer relies on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Browsing data: for the technical period set by the hosting provider, usually a few days, unless needed to investigate abuse.
- Emails: for as long as needed to reply and to follow up the relationship that may result; then we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive the data you gave us in a readable format (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). Write to info@cambusaos.it: we reply within one month.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Changes
If we change how we process data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
