Cambusa / Delivery note scanning
Delivery note scanning
The delivery note reads from a photo.
Cambusa is software for professional kitchens that reads the delivery note (DDT) with AI: from a photograph it picks out the supplier, products, quantities, batch numbers and use-by dates. You don’t retype them.
At a glance
- What it reads
- Supplier, products, quantities, batches, use-by dates
- From what
- A photo of the note, from a phone or tablet
- Who decides
- You: nothing enters stock without confirmation
- Where it goes
- Stock, linked to supplier and arrival date
Why you stop retyping
Retyping delivery notes is the job skipped in the middle of service, and the one that’s missing the day a batch matters. With Cambusa the note becomes data from a photo, while you unload.
The result is a check screen: each line with product, batch, quantity and use-by date, ready to confirm.
Where the reading is uncertain, it tells you
A handwritten note, a faded print, a batch hidden by a fold: where the system isn’t sure it flags «check» and shows the line to verify.
You fix what’s off or discard the line. The last word is always the cook’s.
From delivery note to traceability
Once confirmed, the note brings the batches into stock, linked to the supplier and the arrival date. Recipes and preparations will use those batches, and a recall is found in seconds.
